Rosemary Mint

I am very thankful that I am not an expert on beards - as I don't really want one. However, I do have men in my family that love sporting a beard and/or mustache. What I have learned from them is that there is some maintenance that goes into facial hair. Luckily, there are some essential oils that help with some of the concerns men have with their facial hair and maintaining it the way they like it!

Ingrown Hairs & Infected follicles - Tea Tree is an amazing oil that has some pretty powerful germ fighting properties as well as an astringent effect on the skin.

Itching - While moisturizing the skin goes a LOOOONG way to helping with the itching, Siberian Fir can help calm and soothe the skin to help with irritation.

Growth & Patchiness - Rosemary helps stimulate hair growth to help facial hair grow more evenly, fuller and faster.

Balancing Oily skin - Peppermint helps balance the skins oil production while providing a cooling effect for the skin as well.

Hair softness & maintainability - Using carrier oils such as Argan Oil, Jojoba Oil and Coconut oil help soften the hair. In the beard balm we use waxes and butters to help tame unruly hair.

These two products are very simple to make and a little goes a long way. If you're man doesn't sport facial hair, but needs help with any of the issues above - the beard oil makes an amazing pre/post shave oil as well. These make great stocking stuffers or gift for any man in your life - and they smell fresh and woodsy - and plain old AMAZING!
