In-Person/Live Stream Course Cancellation

At Pure Lotus Massage Therapeutics, we deeply value your commitment to advancing your education with us. Recognizing that circumstances beyond your control may necessitate changes to your course attendance, we have established a comprehensive Cancellation policy to address various scenarios.

  1. Refund Structure:

We take great pride into the planning and preparation that goes into bringing you, our student, a well-organized learning experience. This planning and preparation comes at a cost of time, labour and physical costs to execute. Cancellations within 30 days of a class start date cause significant and costly implications for our operations to support your planned attendance.

  • You will be eligible for a refund less an administrative fee of $50.00 if you cancel a minimum of 30 days before the course date.
  • If you cancel between 15 and 29 days prior to the course date, you will be eligible for a refund of 50% of the course fee paid. The remainder of your course fee can be transferred to a new course date.*
  • Unfortunately, no refunds will be provided for cancellations occurring within 14 days of the course or for participants who do not attend. The course fee less an administrative fee of $50 can be transferred to a new course date.*
  1. Requesting a Refund:

To request a refund, simply submit a written request to [email protected]. We understand that reasons for requesting a refund may vary, and therefore, Pure Lotus Massage Therapeutics holds discretion in granting refunds. Courses that have been fully or partially attended are not eligible for refunds. However, we empathize with unforeseen situations and will consider reasonable circumstances on a case-by-case basis. Our team will promptly acknowledge your request and guide you through the next steps. While we strive to accommodate your needs, it's important to note that there are specific circumstances under which a refund request may be denied. These circumstances include instances where a student is asked to leave the course due to inappropriate behavior, unauthorized sharing of course materials, damage to course property, or any form of slander directed towards Pure Lotus Massage Therapeutics or our instructors.

  1. Refund Method:

Refunds will be issued back to the original payment method you used when enrolling in the course. In the rare event that the original payment method was cash, we will work closely with you to establish an alternative refund method that is convenient for both parties.

  1. Physical Product:

You have 30 days after receiving your products to request a return.  To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. You are responsible for the shipping (including tracking) and insured charges on all returned items. Original Shipping charges are non-refundable. To start a return, you can contact us at [email protected]. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. We will work with our supply partners on a solution with you.

  1. Credit for Future Courses*

Any amounts that are not eligible for refund will automatically be transferred to a credit for future courses. We aim to ensure that the unreimbursed portions of cancelled courses contribute towards your continued educational endeavors with us. You have 2 years from the scheduled course date to re-register.
