Using oats to make skin soothing and anti-aging creams, bath soaks and masks is amazing, but if you want to your final product to be smooth and not lumpy or scratchy using whole or colloidal oats will not work well. This is where oat milk comes in. Its a simple process that removes the pulp of the oats without removing the benefits.

Note: the difference between this recipe and a recipe for oat milk to consume is one, possibly two simple ingredients. Salt does enhance the flavor of this mixture and some people prefer to add a flavor to their oat milk, such as vanilla or chocolate. This oat milk is perfectly safe to consume, however, we've omitted the salt and flavorings as they are not the best for your skin.
