Flavored Cooking Salts

Figuring out what to give for things like Secret Santas or work gift exchanges is tricky. You need something that is usually gender neutral and something that everyone will like. Everyone eats food and everyone cooks - so something to do with cooking is always a safe, and often, prized option. This also makes a great stocking stuffer as well. One of my favorite Christmas Gifts was a pack of flavored Balsamic Vinegar and Olive Oils - and it was something I used as well.  Gifts that people can use as well as enjoy are always appreciated.

This set of cooking salts and flavored sugars is a very easy and affordable gift that you can make for special people on your list. This can also be a very green project as well - you can recycle whatever containers you have lying around! For this project I used some small jam jars that I had already cleaned out, but any container that can be sealed will work really well.
